A GOD OF BEGINNINGS! Genesis 1, John 1 & Revelation 21 (January,
2014)
“And
he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new… I am Alpha and
O’mega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain
of the water of life freely,” (Revelation 21:5–7). “In the beginning was the
Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the
beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not
anything made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men…
v14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory,
the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth,”
(John 11-14).
Begin
this New Year, 2014, with God. Lay all your plans at the feet of Jesus and
allow the Master of beginnings to take care of them for you. “In all thy ways
acknowledge God and He shall direct thy paths,” (Proverbs 3:6). Praise God
every opportunity you get for that was His purpose for creating you and me, to
glorify him.
I
am praying that 2014 brings you more joy than sorrow;
More
love than hate; more prosperity than lack; more boldness than cowardice; more
peace than turmoil; and an abundance of wisdom.
