WHO FEARS YOUR GOD?

Who Fears Your God? Excerpt

“The midwives, however, feared God and did not do what the king of Egypt had told them to do; they let the boys live. Then the king of Egypt  summoned the midwives and asked them, “Why have you done this? Why have you let the boys live? The midwives answered Pharaoh, “Hebrew women are not like Egyptian women; they are vigorous and give birth before the midwives arrive,” (Exodus 1:17-19).

Thought: Who fears your God? When others examine your life does what they see drive them to respect and fear your God? Do you have the faith to be courageous in difficult times? God will always come through for you. Therefore, I encourage you to embrace your obstacles as blessings in disguise. Read Exodus 1.

Like the Hebrew women, if you stick with God no one can kill your dream. God will give birth to your dream in such a way that by the time the enemies find out about your “pregnancy” God will have already birthed your dream. You see, everything God does and allows is to bring honor and glory to His name.

Do not be intimidated by Pharaoh(s). Just be diligent in doing as David says in Psalm 42:1-2 “As the deer pants for streams of water, so pants my soul for thee, oh God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.”
