“And the LORD said to Moses, “I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name,” (Exodus 33:17).
THOUGHT: What is it that you are asking God for today? Does God know you by name? In other words, can He trust you? We know that God is all knowing. Therefore, this means God knows what you are doing and He can count on you to represent Him. This is a love relationship initiated by God Himself. He knows the depth of your love for Him and that is why He says that He is pleased with you.
Because God can count on you and is pleased with you He will do the
very thing that you are asking of Him. Whatever that “thing” is just ask
of God and wait patiently for His perfect timing.Self-Reflection:
God, today I will examine myself to see if there is anything that you are not pleased with me about. I desire for you to be pleased with me and to be satisfied with me so that you may grant the very thing that I am asking of you. My heart is willing to give up anything that may stand in the way of my blessing(s). Give me grace oh Lord to do exactly as you ask!
Thank you Lord for your faithfulness and patience towards me. I will forever testify of your goodness, your grace and mercy.
